I'm thrilled to share that I have been selected as a recipient of the 2eASD grant scholarship for Confratute 2024! This incredible opportunity will allow me to attend the transformative event at the University of Connecticut from July 14th to July 18th, where I will gain invaluable knowledge, skills, and strategies to better support and engage twice-exceptional (2e) students. As an educator passionate about meeting the unique needs of 2e learners, I am deeply grateful for this scholarship, which covers my registration, meals, housing, and transportation to and from the event. I'm excited to participate in the keynote and special strand sessions led by renowned experts Sally Reis and Susan Baum, focusing on strength-based pedagogy for 2e students. As part of the scholarship requirements, I will be developing a final project that showcases how I plan to implement strength-based strategies to support 2e learners in my educational setting. I look forward to collaborating with fellow educators, sharing ideas, and creating a actionable plan to make a positive impact on the lives of 2e students. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the 2eASD team for this incredible opportunity. I am committed to making the most of this experience and applying the knowledge gained to create a more inclusive and empowering learning environment for all students, especially those who are twice-exceptional.
